*ARC GIVEN TO BLOG FOR HONEST REVIEW*
So, first of all, I gave this 3 of 5 stars. The writing was good, but there were a few points where I didn't understand any reasoning behind the character's thoughts. SPOILER ALERT!! For example, the near gang-bang rape that took place, and not reporting it, which resulted in a second near gang-bang rape. Gay or not, who doesn't report that?!
Then the fact that one of the characters is drugged or drunk when most of the sex scenes take place. :/ That kind of ruined it for me. It's almost like he wouldn't be himself if he wasn't under some kind of influence, and that honestly bugs me to no end. So while this book had potential, I just couldn't give it more than a 3 star sadly. Here's a little more about the story. Maybe you'll have better luck with it. :)
About the Book:
How come the minute Jim decides to be responsible, he finds himself taking care of his kid brother, getting a proposal from a wealthy woman, making a deal with the devil, and winding up in the hospital—when all he really wants is the Knave of Broken Hearts?
