Review: "Loup Garou" by Mandy M Roth

*ARC GIVEN TO BLOG FOR HONEST REVIEW*

About the Book:

Lindsay Willows craves a simple life. One where she can make a difference without drawing too much attention to herself. As the daughter of both a vampire and a fae, the cards were already stacked against her. Finding out she's the supposed mate of a dark fae prince doesn't help matters. Especially when there are those who will stop at nothing to prevent her from mating with a prince she's never even met.

When Exavier Kedmen, the incredibly sexy front man for a world-famous band, shows up wanting her to go back to working in a field she left three years ago, she can't explain the strong feelings that surface for a man she barely knows.

Lindsay finds herself confronting demons from her past, coming to terms with the ones in the present, and finally looking forward to a future with the man she was created for. And she discovers evil doesn't care who it hurts to obtain its goals, but even the evilest of things fear something, or in the case of Exavier, someone.

My Review:

I really enjoyed this book so I gave it 5 stars. Lindsay was fun, entertaining, witty, and a total pain in the behind. Lol. Exavier is sexy, adventurous, mysterious, and the two together have amazing chemistry, even if Lindsay doesn't put 2 and 2 together right away.

The sex scenes were hot and steamy, and I especially loved the last couple of chapters with the band and cemetery video. While I was way off in my assumptions of this book when I first started reading it, everything made sense at the end and left me begging for more. Mandy definitely made this a book I'd read over and over again! I can't wait to read the next books in this series!

Review: "Prince of Pleasure" by Mandy M. Roth

*ARC GIVEN TO BLOG FOR HONEST REVIEW*

About the Book:

Book Five in the King of Prey Series
Paranormal Bird Shifter BBW Romance

Youngest born in a family of royal hawk shifters, Rossi is used to dodging responsibility and doing what he wishes. His needs are simple--he likes fighting, and bedding beautiful women. He isn't looking for a mate, so when his meddlesome sister-in-law decides to divine his future, he's stunned to find out he's about to meet her--the one. His mate. And she's human.

As one who does his best to limit his time in the human realm, Rossi believes there is no chance he'll cross paths with the woman destiny has in store for him. After all, it's not as if humans fall from the sky in the realm of bird shifters.

Or do they?

My Review:

I gave this book a 4/5. I LOVE the chemistry between Lucy and Rossi. They're amazing together! She just wanted to prove bird shifters existed, he wasn't looking for a mate and laughs off his sister-in-law's attempts at telling him he'd meet his mate that day. Oh, he so owes her an apology for not believing her.

While this is the fifth book in the series, it works well as a standalone novella. Unfortunately, now I have to read all the other books or I'm going to feel like I've missed out on something amazing and enchanting. :)

Review: "Hunted Holiday" by Mandy M. Roth

*ARC GIVEN TO BLOG FOR HONEST REVIEW*

About the Book:

Dani Malloye hates the holidays, and with good reason. Though her best friend tries to force the Christmas spirit on her with giant Santas and elves that light up, she'd rather spend her time doing what she does best--enforcing paranormal law on the streets of Chicago. Nothing like a little evil bloodshed to lighten the mood.

Besides, work means she can spend time with her sexy boss, Cornell Sutton. Too bad Cornell is uptight, her new neighbor, and a vampire. Everyone knows slayers and vampires don't mix. Or do they?

My Review:

I gave this book a 4/5. I would have preferred it be longer, but since it's a novella, I can't really complain. Dani was fun, outgoing, and a smart-allic. Cornell, while being too pale for my taste, was definitely a lovable vampire. The shoulder-length black hair, dark eyes, and designer clothes added up to a hunk! I couldn't help but love Finn as well, especially when Cornell got annoyed with the "Corny" names. Ha! Typical best friend. :D

Review: "The Guardians" by Mandy M. Roth

*ARC GIVEN TO BLOG FOR HONEST REVIEW*

About the Book:

Butt-kicking Guardian, Madelyn Mason, is the only female in a sea of supernatural males. College student by day, she spends her nights fighting for mankind--the innocents, the ones who have no clue that the things of nightmares walk among the living.

Larger than life Hollywood hunk, Brady Devens, has wont he hearts of millions of adoring fans. But the only heart he wants to win is that of his mate, Madelyn. She hasn't shown any interest in him as anything more than a friend, and he's beginning to think the Powers That Be goofed.

In this world of magik, mishap, demons, gods, and pleasure nymphs, anything is possible. Can they find a love that transcends time and space or will the Powers That Be decide maybe they weren't destined for one another after all?

 My Review:

I gave this book 4 stars. It was fun, the characters were captivating and entertaining, and the book in general kept my attention long enough to finish in just a couple of days, even with my busy schedule. :)

Madelyn (Mads or Maddy, if you will) was a pretty awesome heroine! She has magik, controls weather (even though she doesn't know it yet), controls four guys that make up gods, demons, kings, and guardians, and is amazing at what she does, even if it does threaten her life on a daily basis.

Brady is the perfect guy, but he can be pretty stubborn, which is why he and Maddy are so right for each other. They butt heads but have a chemistry like no other. He's a king, an obvious hunk, a great actor though he has no chemistry with any of the actresses he films with, and is an all-around sweet guy, even if I wanted to change his channel because he refused to listen. :)

This book kept me on my toes. I'd start reading a section, think I knew exactly what was going on, and BAM! I was completely off! Definitely a must read if you enjoy vampires, lycans, werewolves, magik, or just paranormal in general.
